Open House

Ckick on the link below to find my new blog address. To leave comments, you will need to register ... please do! Because I have no life, your comments often are the only thing that really make my day. Pathetic, but hey . . . it's like, you know? (That sounds so Californian, doesn't it?)

Thanks!

So, Greg -

What's the deal over at your new blog with commenting? I wrote a ( quite brilliant, in my opnion) really long comment earlier about all of your posts there on your page (which I'd just read) and how much I like your writing and your style, etc, etc, and then hit "submit comment," but it got eaten up or something, never to be seen again. Then I tried sending a version of this second one here (which I had the presence of mind to save) and had it disappear as well.

So now I'm trying here at your "old" blog to see 1) if my comment will perhaps be saved and show up here and (2) if you are still receiving email notice of comments left over here so that I might - accidentally, it appears, any more - be able to reach you in person to tell you I like your blog a lot, for what it's worth. I find it intelligent, perceptive, hilarious, thoughtful and all of those other great adjectives writers so like to hear.

As I just said above, I could not find an email address for you anywhere where I could write privately to complain, if nothing else, so I guess here on my you'll-have-to-admit-persistent third try we'll see what happens this time.

It all reminds me of the troubles and travails you've been writing about in your self-proclaimed "sarcastic and crass" manner, but that's okay, too, because I find you quite hilarious (plus can greatly identify with the sarcastic and crass part, being one of those kind of persons myself much of the time, as well as deeply cynical and suspicious).

Hoping for the best, while expecting the worst, I close, as I've been doing a lot lately, by saying -

Cheers! Dee

I tried to comment at your regular blog, but I need to create another account and I don't really want to create a 15th blog.

But I liked the questions you posed there, and the lively comments.

Take care.
